Ivy Pool for New Castle Supervisor

Vision. Energy. Collaboration.

I was elected to the New Castle Town Board in 2017 and I am in the second year of my term as a Council Member. I am a public sector management consultant advising non-profits and government agencies on improving outcomes for vulnerable populations. Previously, I served in the administration of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, where I led a $500M program to modernize and streamline benefits access. I served during all three terms of NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg's administration, in roles in human services, information technology, and government operations.

I earned a Master's in Public Administration from NYU and an undergraduate degree from Columbia University.

I have lived in the New Castle since 2010 with my husband and two children, ages 8 and 10. I am a Girl Scout troop leader, girls’ softball coach, and active member of the Grafflin Elementary School PTA. I am a member of the First Congregational Church of Chappaqua, and I'm involved in many volunteer activities in town, including the Chappaqua Children's Book Festival. I am also a board member of the Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

It is my pleasure and privilege to represent this community, and I can think of no greater honor than to serve as Town Supervisor.  I am running because I love this town, and I believe I can serve this community honorably and intelligently. If elected, I will strive every day to work hard for the people of this community and to give them a voice at Town Hall.
